The valley's best spot for soloing — walk up the hillside beside the crag to reach all the anchors.

Coupeau

Chamonix (Coupeau)

A good place to set up top-ropes and practise on your own, without any lead climbing. It's an easy walk to the top — give the rock a day to dry after rain, as it seeps.

Monolithe de la Chauffria

Chamonix (Monolithe de la Chauffria)

Soloable, with a fixed cable at the top to clip into.
